Object Pronouns

Direct object pronoun

e.g. Tú no lees el libro. –> Tú no lo lees.

Indirect object pronoun

e.g. Le doy el libro a Juan. –> Le doy el libro.

Double object pronoun

e.g. Te paso la sal a ti. –> Te la paso.

e.g. Le doy el regalo a María. –> Se lo doy.

1. With one conjugated verb –> before the verb

e.g. Te lo paso.

2. If the verb form has infinitive/gerund –>before the conjugated verb or added to the infinitive/gerund. Add accent if emphasis falls on third-to-last syllable.

e.g. Te lo voy a pasar. / Te lo estoy pasando.

e.g. Voy a pasártelo. / Estoy pasándotelo.

3. Just an infinitive/gerund –> add to the infinitive/gerund.

e.g. pasarlo, comiéndolo

4. Affirmative command –> add to command. Negative command –> before

e.g. pásalo.

e.g. no lo pases.
